the Artist:

Danny Kadum is an artist from the American SouthWest, since early in life his obsession has been to see the world through the scale and vastness of the landscape. He learned the differences in landscapes traveling often across the United States and living 10 years in Mexico. The differences in regions of plants, animals, geology, architecture, and all the details of each different region fascinated him and have been the source of inspiration for his paintings since age 12. He was introduced to Painting and poetry while studying in Mexico, they were an escape to his life and tools to explore his inner world.

To him “life should be a series of beautiful moments” and hikes often searching for the perfect place to appreciate nature and the landscape.

He graduated with an MFA from Otis in 2020 during the pandemic, his art career has been on hold while he finishes a PhD in Environmental Planning. In 2024 after years of helping his elderly father he decided to start a new life and has been living in the LA area since.
